Welcome to my page !
A few years ago, I decided to delve into the world of natural artisan soaps and make my own natural soaps. I did not know it was going to turn into a passion that will consume all of my free time! After many trials and testing, my recipe was perfected and I was able to create hundreds of amazing natural soap loafs made with luxurious natural oils, without any preservatives, parabens, detergents, sulfates or harsh chemicals.
For the last five years, I have made soaps in small batches in my kitchen, one batch at a time, lovingly and taking all the time needed. There is no mass production and today I only share my soaps to people I call my friends. I also take special orders for special occasions. I derive the highest satisfaction when someone tells me how my soaps made a difference to their skin and in many cases, healed them of skin issues including eczema.
Unlike commercial bars sold on the market which contain various chemicals such as Parabens, Sulfates, and Triclosan, which in turn easily can trigger allergies, disrupt hormones, and even increase the risk of allergic reactions, natural soaps are made with precious oils and butters that are actually good for your skin. Remember everything you put on your skin gets absorbed so using natural soaps that nourish your skin and moisturize it, is the right choice.
I invite you to try my soaps and feel the difference.
Warmly,
Amy xoxo
Coconut oil: Coconut oil is made by pressing fresh coconut meat or dried coconut meat called copra. When used in soap, coconut oil hardens the soap bars and produces large size bubbles. It is also known to be cleansing. Coconut Oil creates a protective moisturizing shield on the skin. It is full of antioxidants and is composed of healthy saturated fats and vitamins like vitamin E, amino acids, lauric acid, and caprylic acid. Coconut oil can moisturize, reduce inflammation, and promote wound healing.
Olive Oil: Olive oil is typically made through a process that involves harvesting ripe olives from olive trees and then crushing them to extract the oil. When used in soap, olive oil moisturizes the skin while creating a creamy lather.
Shea Butter: It makes the soap super creamy and moisturizing. It is comprised of approximately 6% Linoleic, 48% Oleic, 5% Palmitic, and 40% Stearic fatty acids. Shea Butter has healing properties, as it contains healthy fats that help the skin regenerate and heal, even improve the look of scars.
Castor Oil: This oil enhances the soap’s lather, creating a luxurious texture, and provides deep cleansing by lifting dirt and impurities. With its anti-inflammatory properties it soothes irritated skin and eczema. Not only known for its antimicrobial properties but also for its potential anti-aging benefits, castor oil promotes the production of elastin and collagen, helping to delay the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Avocado Oil: this oil hydrates your skin from within and provides deep moisturization. Avocado oil can treat dry and flaky skin, accelerate wound healing and reduce skin aging signs.
Kaolin Clay: Is a mild clay which is rich in silica. It absorbs impurities from the skin.
Rose Clay: Rose clay acts as a gentle exfoliant, removing dead skin cells and impurities, promoting a smoother and more radiant complexion.
Purple Brazilian Clay: Natural mineral used to color soaps, it also absorbs excess oil.
